Diana Mercado was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador. As a child, she immigrated to the United States. Diana received her BA and MA from Columbia University. In 2009, she moved to London and began to paint, studying at the Chelsea College of Arts, London, and The Art Academy, London. Her initial exhibitions included Mujeres in London and Verde in New York in 2021. More recent exhibitions include Recuerdos de Los Andes in 2023 at the Gallery at Green and Stone in London, and in the Embassy of Ecuador in the United Kingdom. Diana’s latest exhibition, A Tale of the Andes, was held in London in 2025 at the Gallery at Green and Stone. Her work is held in numerous private collections in the United States, Latin America, Europe, and the United Kingdom.
